Since opening the doors just over 2 years ago RAYGUN have been busy making a large selection of work for all kinds of clients. Our latest showreel can be viewed here.
Raygun is very proud to have provided full audio post on the much anticipated new Zig and Zag animation series.
The awesome Tim O'Donovan, Eoghan McDonnell, Colm O'Rourke and Dean Jones were also on the sound team - this couldn't have happened without them.
Not to mention the very talented Jonathan Casey who composed all the zogtastic music, along with Fergal Davis who did some deadly songs and some bloke called Ricky from the Kaiser Chiefs who did the theme tune.
And how could we forget all the cool voice actors who brought their talents to this show, and who Tim had the real pleasure of recording in Raygun: Tara Flynn, Paul Tylak, Sam McGovern, Inel Tomlinson, Debra Stephenson and Lisa Garvey and of course, the brothers Zogly.
Who knew Zig and Zag love scones with mackerel on.
Conor McGuinness from McGooMedia asked us to soundmix this wonderful brand commercial for Ulster Bank. It was a delight to work with Conor and the very talented Mr Mike Mesbur of Ogilvy. Mike Mesbur has now perfected his impersonation of Dean's Scottish Brogue and, in studio, worked out every Ukulele chord there is! A lovely lyrical narration featuring the very friendly Paul McLoone, a carefully crafted music edit (thanks to Mike) and subtle sfx create a delicate soundtrack to compliment the beautiful images.
We were charged with the task of bringing the lovely concept of Anne Fleming to life in a short animation explaining the transition year programme in the Bar of Ireland. We were asked to design and animate the characters and were given free reign. The team of Andrea Arice and Pat Fox threw themselves at it and came up trumps. We also then got to go crazy on the audio, the talented Dean collared most of the staff at Raygun to lend their voices to the characters. .
Big thanks to Colin Norris from Media Coop for bringing us this Cadbury's Commercial featuring Louis Walsh. Graded in Lustre and finished in Flame by our very own Rory Gavin and mixed by the ever awesome Dean Jones.
